MAKING A STATEMENT WITH NEEDLE AND THREAD
Nothing says professional, high-end, or premium like hand-crafted embroidery. As a go-to option for most projects, and it adds a clean look and feel to any garment or item. Like screen printing, there are many different thread colors and techniques that can be applied to a garment, from standard flat embroidery, 3D puff, or applique. Whether it’s a polo, hat, jacket, or backpack, embroidery is always a great way to level up your look.
Flat Embroidery
This is the classic technique and industry-standard look for mostly embroidered items. Designs are stitched onto a garment leaving a sewn-looking and slightly raised and textured feel. Flat embroidery is a great option for the majority of designs. However, design with a small text and fine details could be an issue.
3D Puff
Unlike flat embroidery, 3D Puff adds a level of dimension to your design. This is achieved by using a foam pad underneath the stitching, creating a raised effect. This technique is normally seen on hats and some garments like hoodies and jackets. You can expect to turn heads with this look.
